VINITALY IS BACK IN TOWN

Every year Verona celebrates the anniversary of the most important exposition fair of all times: VINITALY.

Vinitaly is an International Wine Show that takes place in Verona, more precisely in “Verona fiere” Exposition Center. It collects: productors, importers, distributors, restaurateurs, technicians, journalists and opinion leaders.

The event is considered an opportunity by wineries to release new wine and wine styles, and to announce partnerships with Universities and wine organizations or other wineries as well. Moreover Vinitaly it is considered one of the premier international wine events.

Vinitaly is annually celebrated from the 9th to the 12th of April . The interesting thing is that from the 7th to the 11th of April it has been created a tasting tour around the Historical Center of Verona and in the small town of Bardolino (Lake Garda)well known for the production of the most tasty AOC red wine.

Vinitaly and the City is a widespread event, which has its heart in Signori’s Square and “Cortile Mercato Vecchio” where Fisar’s sommeliers go with wine lovers to discover the best Italian wines offered by wine cooperatives and consortiums.

Moving to the adjacent Erbe’s Square, the Lamberti’s Tower over than being a magnificent and historical monument, offers the thrill of a tasting itinerary on the top overlooking the stunning panorama of Verona from a height of more than 80 meters.

As early announced, this year the event grows up and over the heart of Verona, Bardolino, the most evocative location in Lake Garda, wins the show. In fact, in the historic Villa Carrara Bottagisio with its park and along the lake Cornicello, for five themed days you can taste the best wines guided by Fisar’s sommeliers and accompanied by typical local dishes.
